Your Future in Leadership

The leadership program at Charleston Southern University is for any student who wants to learn how to effectively lead and manage people across professional industries. Special attention is given to critical leadership competencies including personal growth, interpersonal skills, communication, alignment of values, organizational change and executive decision-making. As a Christian university, CSU is committed to providing students with a faith-based community, so that they might learn in a safe, productive environment. As a university, we promote the establishment of growth, change and purpose in the hearts and minds of students. Specifically regarding the leadership programs, these courses will enrich the student’s life with leadership principles necessary for any endeavor they choose to pursue. Our focus on servant leadership is certain to provide the student with the building blocks of a successful career.

Examine and tackle real-life projects in the classroom, learn from faculty with experiential knowledge and gain internship experience — all which will prepare you to graduate well-equipped to be a world changer in corporations, nonprofit organizations and government. An internship or other ELR courses are required for the Bachelor of Arts in Leadership program.

The Leadership degree is a joint effort of the Strack Center (Student Leadership University) and the Hans A. Nielsen College of Business. The degree can be completed 100% online or in a hybrid format for those attending CSU.
